By Chance

Don’t give me by chance

Because if by chance I leave it with fate

And fate takes more than an hour

It takes more than a year

And i thank by chance I’ve met you

But i guess that’s the only story I’d get

A name I was stupid enough to actually forget

 

This is a modern Shakespearean where

The story is not the tragedy of death

But the torment of waiting
